DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, February 1st at Point Panic (Honolulu\, HI) at 9am to help clean up our ocean! Must be scuba certified and bring your own gear. We will provide mesh bags\, cutting tools\, and water (bring your own reusable water bottle). This site can bring in some pretty unique items. We have removed couch cushions\, anchors\, multiple billiards trophies\, an iron\, a faucet\, and lots of fishing line and hooks on previous dives. Just last month we removed almost 50lbs of garbage and there was a lot more to be removed! We will also be offering the PADI Project Aware Specialty certification for those interested for $40 ($25 processing fee\, $15 donation to Project Aware). This is different from the Dive Against Debris offered last month. Show up 30 minutes early if you plan to do the certification. We look forward to you joining the Nudi Dive Club!

DESCRIPTION:As many of you know\, the strong tradewinds blowing over the last few weeks have covered the windward side beaches with garbage\, including an overwhelming amount of microplastics.\nNUDIWEAR will be holding a beach cleanup at Waimanalo Beach Park on Saturday the 18th from 9am to 12pm. We will have some sand sifters but encourage you to bring any old kitchen strainers\, kids beach sifters\, or anything else that might work to separate out plastics. We also suggest gloves. We will provide garbage bags and drinking water\, please bring your own reusable bottle!\nFamily friendly. Bathrooms and showers available on site.
