DESCRIPTION:Nudi Wear and Ocean Defenders Alliance (ODA) are teaming up to again to tackle the massive amounts of garbage that have accumulated at Waiāhole Beach Park! Join us on February 20th from 12-4pm. We will provide the tools\, but we need as many people as possible to help! \nMasks\, closed toed shoes\, and gloves are required. We will have some gloves available if you do not have any. Snacks and water will be provided\, but please bring a reusable water bottle. \nDirections: If you start at the Waiāhole Poi Factory\, head north on the Kamehameha Hwy. In about 1/2 mile\, on the right\, you will see blue Waiāhole Beach Park signs with parking along the side of the road.

We will start with a cleanup dive. While the debris removed is being sorted and accounted for\, we will be grilling hot dogs and brats. Then join us for a second fun dive! \nWe will have a special gift for our female divers and all attendees will be entered for a chance to win a 2-tank charter with Ruckus Sporting and Diving. \nA briefing will be provided for people who have not been to this site before but experienced buddy groups are free to just go dive independently. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, August 27th Nudi Wear will be participating in Oahu Dive for Life at Shark’s Cove from 7am to 5pm. \nCancer is something that touches everyone.  Whether you or someone you know is battling cancer\, a cancer survivor\, or have lost a loved one to the battle against this awful disease. There are many ways people everywhere are raising the money to fund the research into a cure for cancer and to support all those fighting it.  One especially successful tradition is that of Relay For Life.  Runners take to the track and have at least one team member running at all times to raise money\, spread awareness\, and rally the community to fight against cancer.  But what does this have to do with us?  We have decided to put a twist on the Relay for Life events that have become so popular and do what we like to do best: dive dive dive!  So Dive for Life was born. Teams of SCUBA divers hit the water at Shark’s Cove to dive for 10 hours while donations flow in to support their efforts! \nWe invite you to join our team by either diving or donating. If you would like to join us on Saturday and dive as part of the “Nudi Dive Club” send us an email for specifics (nudiwear@gmail.com). Please visit http://www.oahudive4life.com/ for more details! \n  \nJoin us August 26th\, 2023 for the 11th Annual Dive for Life event at Shark’s Cove on Oahu from 7am to 5pm. \nCancer is something that touches everyone.  Whether you or someone you know is battling cancer\, a cancer survivor\, or have lost a loved one to the battle against this awful disease. There are many ways people everywhere are raising the money to fund the research into a cure for cancer and to support all those fighting it.  One especially successful tradition is that of Relay For Life.  Runners take to the track and have at least one team member running at all times to raise money\, spread awareness\, and rally the community to fight against cancer.  But what does this have to do with us?  We have decided to put a twist on the Relay for Life events that have become so popular and do what we like to do best: dive dive dive!  So Dive for Life was born. Teams of SCUBA divers hit the water for 10 hours while donations flow in to support their efforts! \nWe will have a tent set up and will be by the parking lot at Sharks Cove  from 7am to 5pm. We plan to dive at least 2 times but some members may dive more or less. You must bring your own tanks and gear to participate. We will be providing brats\, hot dogs\, drinks\, and snacks. We just ask that everyone who attends donates something to the American Cancer Society. \nWe invite you to join our team by either diving or donating. If you would like to join us on Saturday and dive as part of the “Nudi Dive Club” send us an email so we can count you in for food (nudiwear@gmail.com). You can also donate to the fight against cancer or purchase a shirt (all profits will be donated) at http://www.oahudive4life.com/t-shirts–teams.html. \n

World Cleanup Day unites millions of volunteers\, governments and organizations\, in 197 countries and territories\, to tackle the global mismanaged waste crisis and to help create a new\, more sustainable world.\nJoin Nudi Wear\, Aaron’s Dive Shop\, and Hawai’i Marine Animal Response (HMAR) this upcoming Saturday at Waiahole Beach Park on Oahu to help make a BIG difference at the overlooked beach park. \n Saturday\, September 16th\n 8:30AM-12:00PM\n Waiahole Beach Park (Just past the Poi Factory on the right side)\n\nThis is a BEACH clean up so there will be no freediving/snorkeling/SCUBAdiving clean up. The water is extremely shallow at this beach. Please come with a reusable water bottle\, sun protection (sun shirt\, hat\, sunscreen\, etc) and comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting sandy and wet.\n\nBuckets\, gloves\, shovels\, cutters and hand tools will be provided in limited supply. If you have your own\, please bring it!
