DESCRIPTION:Aloha! Join us on Saturday\, Nov 21st from 830am to 12pm for an underwater cleanup dive at Point Panic in Honolulu\, HI. This dive site always has lots of debris and brings in some unusual items. Also\, a special prize give away from Ruckus Sportfishing and Diving will go home with one lucky winner! Many Mahalos to the Ruckus Crew!\n\nA briefing will be provided for people who have not been to this site before but experienced buddy groups are free to just go dive independently.\nWe will have some dive bags and cutting tools available but please bring them if you have them! A tarp will be set up near the parking lot for the collection of the debris and will be accounted for before 12pm.\n\nWe ask everyone to be respectful by socially distancing and wearing a mask when not geared up. DESCRIPTION:Nudi Wear and Ocean Defenders Alliance (ODA) are teaming up to tackle the massive amounts of abandoned boats\, tires\, fishing nets\, buoys\, and plastics at Waiāhole Beach Park! Join us on July 26th from 9am to 1pm. We will provide the tools\, but we need as many people as possible to help! \nA big mahalo to the Dept of Parks & Recreation of Honolulu and DNLR for assisting with the removal of the debris after the cleanup. \nMasks\, closed toed shoes\, and gloves are required. We will have some gloves available if you do not have any. Snacks and water will be provided\, but please bring a reusable water bottle. \nDirections: If you start at the Waiāhole Poi Factory\, head north on the Kamehameha Hwy. In about 1/2 mile\, on the right\, you will see blue Waiāhole Beach Park signs with parking along the side of the road.

We will have some mesh bags and cutting tools but please bring them if you have them. \nWe will be having a potluck after the cleanup to celebrate Women’s Dive Day! This month we will be offering the AWARE Shark Conservation course for those interested for $40 ($25 processing fee\, $15 donation to Project Aware). There is also a lot of garbage around the park so non-divers can come help too!w We look forward to you joining the Nudi Dive Club!
