We will provide mesh bags\, cutting tools\, and water (bring your own reusable water bottle). This site can bring in some pretty unique items. We have removed couch cushions\, anchors\, multiple billiards trophies\, car/boat radios\, an iron\, a faucet\, and lots of fishing line and hooks on previous dives. This site has so much garbage we have decided to adopt it and make it our monthly cleanup location! This month we will be offering the AWARE Shark Conservation course for those interested for $40 ($25 processing fee\, $15 donation to Project Aware). There is also a lot of garbage around the park so non-divers can come help too!w We look forward to you joining the Nudi Dive Club!

We will also be offering the PADI Project Aware Specialty certification for those interested for $40 ($25 processing fee\, $15 donation to Project Aware). This is different from the Dive Against Debris offered last month. Show up 30 minutes early if you plan to do the certification. We look forward to you joining the Nudi Dive Club!

DESCRIPTION:As many of you know\, the strong tradewinds blowing over the last few weeks have covered the windward side beaches with garbage\, including an overwhelming amount of microplastics.\nNUDIWEAR will be holding a beach cleanup at Waimanalo Beach Park on Saturday the 18th from 9am to 12pm. We will have some sand sifters but encourage you to bring any old kitchen strainers\, kids beach sifters\, or anything else that might work to separate out plastics. We also suggest gloves. We will provide garbage bags and drinking water\, please bring your own reusable bottle!\nFamily friendly. Bathrooms and showers available on site.
