Join Nudi Wear and Moffitt’s Mermaids on Saturday, December 17th from 830am to 12pm at Point Panic for an underwater cleanup dive! Rumor has it, we have all been extra good this year and Santa just might show up for underwater photos! After the cleanup, hang around for a BBQ to celebrate our long term volunteer Jenifer’s Birthday! This year she’s not asking for presents, but instead presence and a clean earth!
SCUBA divers and freedivers welcomed! Must be SCUBA certified and bring your own gear and tank to dive. Christmas outfits encouraged!
This dive site always has lots of debris and brings in some unusual items. A briefing will be provided for people who have not been to this site before but experienced buddy groups are free to dive independently. We will have some dive bags, gloves, and cutting tools available but please bring them if you have them! A tarp will be set up near the parking lot for the collection of debris and will be accounted for before 12pm.
