Nudi Wear is not only concerned about limiting our impact on the environment, but we also want to help others who are making a positive impact.  That is why 10% of profits are donated towards ocean conservation.  Below are some of the ways we give back:

Nudi Wear donates 5% of all purchases to the Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL), a non-profit, environmental NGO that is on a mission to save the world’s coral reefs!

The biological diversity of the world’s coral reefs is unmatched with any other ecosystem on the planet. Even though they cover less than 1% of the ocean, they provide food, protection, and nurseries for almost 25% of marine species. People also depend on reefs for food, income, coastal protection, medicines, and more. However, coral reefs face many threats and action needs to be taken to prevent the decimation of our reefs before it is too late.

The Coral Reef Alliance collaborates with communities to reduce threats to the reef while providing a long term benefit to both the people and wildlife. They work to save the reefs in four critically-important reef regions of the world: Fiji, Hawaii, Indonesia, and the Mesoamerican Region. Their main initiatives are healthy fisheries for reefs, clean water for reefs, intact reef ecosystems, and science of adaptation. While Nudi Wear is proud to support the work of the Coral Reef Alliance, we are not directly affiliated with the nonprofit or any of their programs, projects, or website.

Nudi Wear Adopts the Blue through Padi AWARE

Nudi Wear adopted the dive site Point Panic on Oahu, Hawaii. Since January of 2020, we have conducted monthly Dive Against Debris surveys, removing debris and reporting findings to PADI Aware. These events not only help clean up our oceans and contribute to valuable research, but they also provide opportunities to educate and encourage others to make an impact too.

Nudi Wear regularly organizes beach cleanups on Oahu and neighboring islands. We have removed items ranging in size from tiny plastics that must be filtered from the sand to abandoned boats. This would not be possible without the dedicated volunteers of the Nudi Dive Club who are eager to lend a helping hand. A portion of our sales are used for the necessary resources to successfully conduct these cleanups. Visit our blog and upcoming events pages to learn more!
