Join us Saturday June 5th at Point Panic to celebrate World Ocean Day! World Ocean Day is an annual global celebration that aims to inspire continuing action year-round to protect and restore our ocean. This year, Nudi Wear and Deco Divers are teaming up to host an underwater cleanup at Point Panic. There will be an opportunity to try out the Blacktip diver propulsion vehicles (DPVs), a raffle for a 2-tank dive charter from Ruckus Sportfishing & Diving, and more!
You must be scuba certified and bring your own gear and tank to dive. Mesh bags and cutting tools will be available but bring your own if you have them! A briefing will be provided for people who have not been to this site before but experienced buddy groups are free to just go dive independently.
A tarp will be set up near the parking lot for the collection of the debris and will be accounted for before 12pm.
We ask everyone to be respectful by socially distancing and wearing a mask when not geared up. We hope to see you there!
