Nudibranchs, commonly known as sea slugs, get their name from greek (nudi) and latin (branch) words meaning “naked gills.” Unlike snails who use their shell for protection, nudibranchs lose theirs in their larval stage. Instead, they use camouflage to blend in or bright colors to signal danger to predators. Some have even evolved to digest and reuse stinging cells from their prey. Even though nudibranchs have eyes, they are nearly blind. They use their incredible sense of smell to find food and other nudibranchs. All nudibranchs are hermaphrodites and have both male and female reproductive organs. With over 3,000 known species and their spectacular color patterns, these ocean wonders are a diver’s delight to find underwater.

Excellent quality and very cute! I sized up 1 size, per the sizing page’s recommendation, for a more relaxed fit and the shorts fit exactly how I want them. The zippered pocket is a great bonus, very excited to wear them 🙂

Wish I could share a picture! I love my Nudi booty! The material is more cottony than similar brands and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it at first…I was worried they wouldn’t provide my preferred level of compression or become loose over the course of the day, but if anything they’ve only gotten better and better. I got the whole set with the bra and full length leggings and I’m so happy I did! I’ll have to start budgeting for a different design, but I think this is their standout pattern.
