Love these!!! I was looking at various brands of tiger shark leggings/skins and after seeking some professional advice from a tiger shark diver/photographer/expert, I went with these because of the lack of white and no high contrast. I was advised to stay away from anything contrasting that can attract predators attention and as I thoroughly enjoy diving with sharks, that seemed wise. These are fantastic!
The waters I dove these in (so far) ranged between 28 and 30 degrees celsius, dropping as low as 26 at 30 meters. They provided the perfect amount of warmth and barrier from the tiny stingys (ugh, anemone and thimble jelly larvae are the bane of my existence). I am impressed with the quality of stitching, weight of the fabric, and elasticity and would not hesitate to purchase more wear from Nudiwear!
I’m about 150 lbs these days, 5’5″ tall, athletic build (but almost 50, so factor in aging) with around a 33/34 inch (low) waist, slimmer hips, and just a regular booty (probably 38-40 inches around there. I have a longer torso and these fit great, were comfortable, and didn’t slide down or roll. I bought a large and they were a bit long, but perfect for me because I like pulling the legs under my heels in my booties to protect my ankles from stingys.
A couple times we knelt on the bottom or were bumped against rock during some high current and I don’t see any snagging or wear from it, although I wouldn’t recommend doing that unless absolutely necessary, but I’m impressed with their durability! The waistband is a little tight, but I’m thick waisted now at my age, so that probably wouldn’t be an issue for everyone and it wasn’t enough to really cause muffin top, certainly not with a top over them.
Overall, highly recommend! Great skins and look cool underwater! I can’t see how to add photos to this review, but they do look like the picture! Very nice!
