We had a great turn out on Nov 21st, at Point Panic for our monthly “Adopt a Dive Site” cleanup. We met some fun new volunteers as well as had some awesome returning friends who assisted in the dive. Together we removed 83 lbs of trash from the boat channel! As usual, there was a lot of fishing waste, glass bottles, and cans. Some notable items found were several spark plugs, golf balls modified for use as fishing sinkers, and several grinder wheels for power tools. Congrats to Mark, our winner of a 2 tank dive with Ruckus Sportfishing and Diving.  As a part of our effort to reduce waste and recycle, Ruckus collects the fishing lead after our cleanups and repurposes them into dive weights. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped. We had a great time and hope to see you at the next cleanup!
