A big mahalo to everyone who helped with the underwater cleanup this morning. We had a great turn out (21 divers) and removed approximately 185 lbs of trash from the ocean! Some of the more interesting items removed include 2 car/boat radios, a CD changer, a billiards trophy, a boat muffler, reading glasses, a cushioned stool, fins, mask, and a tire. The most common items found were glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans, and fishing line, weights, and hooks. Congrats to 2 new PADI Project AWARE Specialty divers!
