On Saturday, December 17th, 2022, Nudi Wear and Moffitt’s Mermaids teamed up for another Dive Against Debris at Point Panic. We were fortunate with good weather and ocean conditions since a big storm was approaching the following day. We were also lucky to have Santa join us for the cleanup! As a team, we were able to remove 62 pounds of trash from the ocean and another 7 pounds from the surrounding park! Some of the more usual items found were a knife set holder, a stuffed animal, and a kite. A big MAHALO and Happy Birthday to Jenifer! We celebrated her birthday after the cleanup by grilling hot dogs and burgers. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped to leave our ocean a little cleaner.
